- How much does a pool closing cost?
- An inground closing is $399 plus winter chemicals, which are billed separately. That covers blowing out and plugging the plumbing, draining the equipment, setting winter plugs and gizmos, and installing your safety cover.
- What's included in a pool closing?
- We blow out the plumbing lines, plug the returns and skimmers, drain the pump, filter, and heater, install winter plugs and gizmos, add winter chemicals (billed separately), and install your safety cover. Every closing also includes a free equipment inspection — we report what we find at no charge.
- Is the equipment inspection really free?
- Yes. While we're draining and winterizing, we look over your pump, filter, heater, and plumbing and tell you what we see. There's no charge for the inspection and no obligation. It's the best time of year to catch a problem before spring.
- Can you install a new safety cover at the same visit?
- That's the best value. If you need a new custom safety cover, we measure it, then close the pool and install the new cover in one visit so it's all done at once. See our inground safety covers page to start a quote.
- When should I close my pool?
- Get it done before Oklahoma's first hard freeze. Most Central Oklahoma pools close between September and November. Closing on time is what protects your plumbing and equipment from freeze damage — don't wait until a cold snap is on the forecast.
- What's not included in the $399 closing?
- The closing has a tight scope so the price stays honest. Green-pool cleanup, heavy debris removal, repairs, and equipment work are quoted separately. If we spot something during the free inspection, we'll give you a straight quote — no surprises bundled into the closing.
